Seaside Casual

Jul 16, 2017

Yet another casual look which is perfect for long summer walks. These pictures were taken at the seaside in a very windy and chilly summer evening and to be honest I almost froze in these clothes. So much for Latvian summer.. I was struggling to keep my hair out of my face due to the strong wind, but hey, at least we made it to the golden hour and got to see the sunset. :) I kept this outfit super-minimal and avoided any extra accessories to let the clothing speak for itself. I am wearing a beige vintage jacket that I found in a vintage thrift store, it's from a soft high-quality fabric. I have to admit that often I am not satisfied with the quality of clothes made for fast fashion brands. And this is why I appreciate such good buys in second-hand stores. Have you ever wondered who was the previous owner of a second-hand item that you've bought? The thought to know what was she or he like, seems very intriguing to me. :)

Man mugurā ir vintage lietoto preču atradums - vintage jaka no mīksta, kvalitatīva auduma. Arvien vairāk pārliecinos par to, ka apģērbu kvalitāte fast fashion jeb ātrās modes veikalos bieži vien nav man pieņemama, tāpēc šādus atradumus ļoti novērtēju! Man tas šķiet traki interesanti. :)

 I'm wearing:

 t-shirt: unknown brand
jacket: vintage
